The mountain farm producing the natural ingredients is located in probably one of the purest areas in the world, in the heart of Norway.
The farm is located on the well-drained soils of the western side of an ancient river-valley initially created by glaciers but subsequently moulded by melt water.
The farm consists in addition to traditional log buildings, of forest, meadows, and forest fringe areas stretching from heights of approximately 500 to 600 meters (1500-1800 feet) asl and some higher areas (at approx 950 meters ) of mountain birch forest and open heathland.
The farm is certified as organic by the Norwegian Organic Accreditation Bureau (Debio)
